First Hanoi Open for Team DanceSport KLDSA

This is the first time KLDSA was invited by Hanoi Dancesport Association to their event. The overall results produced by Team Dancesport KLDSA was very promising with 8 Golds, 7 Silvers and 1 Bronze Medals.

Team Coach and Team captain was Mr. Chua Zjen Fong - the current Malaysia 8 times national Latin Champion. There are 13 athletes from Malaysia, 9 from KLDSA. "The overall quality of the athletes in Vietnam is relatively strong and competitive as Thailand's athletes, it a great opportunity for the athletes to come here often each year to compete. The athletes can learn more from each other and improve at a much faster rate" said Mr. Chua. However, the condition of the venue was very unpleasantly Hot due to the breakdown of the air conditioning. "We will fix this issue for next year's competition and it will all turn out to be better" said Mr. Chu Tan Duc, the organizer of the 2016 Hanoi Open.

Malaysia, Thailand, and Taiwan were among the 3 foreign countries taking part in this competition. KLDSA will consider to put Hanoi Open into the annual Go-To list for their athletes.
