News | 1st KLDSA Dinner & Dance is Official!

Kuala Lumpur | The Kuala Lumpur DanceSport Association is organizing their first Dinner & Dance event on the 31st August 2017 at Evolve Concept Mall. The primary focus of the event is provide an opportunity and equal chance to the rest of KLDSA athletes to showcase their talent regardless of level. It also serves as a Fund Raising dinner where the tickets sold will be used to subsidise any KLDSA athletes nominated for World Championship, Games and Major World events as well as overseas training.

DanceSport is a very expensive sport, the association is doing everything in its power to ensure that all the funding raised will be contributed back to help our local athletes in their training and competitions.

The 1st KLDSA Dinner & Dance Platinum sponsorship was taken up by THRIVEN. The other 7 co-sponsors would be Feruni Ceramiche Sdn Bhd, Jack-In Pile (M) Sdn Bhd, Neata Aluminium Sdn Bhd, S&S Quest Resources Sdn Bhd, Setiakon Builders Sdn Bhd, Lumson Bina Engineering Sdn Bhd and TW Bath Solutions Sdn Bhd. Not forgetting the venue sponsor, Evolve Concept Mall @ Ara Damansara. Their generosity and support will be able to help our local athletes to excel in DanceSport and hopefully will bring glory to our nation one day.

This event will feature the best couples from Team DanceSport Malaysia as well as the KL State team athletes. The organiser ensures that the quality of the performances are at premium expectations.

The tickets are sold at RM200/pax (Front Row) and RM150/pax (2nd Row) consecutively. Audience are expected to enter the hall at 6.30PM and the first performance will start at 7PM. All tickets sold are inclusive of a chinese course dinner provided by Peninsula Restaurant. However, the caterer is a Non-Halal provider. Nevertheless, No Pork and Lard will be served. Children from the age 3 and below may enter for Free. There are also General Dancing session where dance enthusiasts may bring their dance shoes to show off their dance moves during the general dancing session.
