Postponement of the 6th Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games

On the 19th of October 2021, the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) had been informed by Prawit Wongsuwan, President ,Thailand National Olympic Committee to postpone the 6th Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games (AIMAG). The initial date of the event was 10th to 19th of March 2022 but it has been postponed and rescheduled to November of 2023.

The Thailand National Olympic Committee (TNOC) further proposed two separate dates to hold the Games which are 10th to 19th of November 2023 or 17th to 26th of November 2023 respectfully.

After careful consideration of the calendar of sporting events in 2023, due to the impact of the global pandemic COVID-19, the OCA Executive Board has vide a mail vote, dated 19th of October 2021, and decided to reschedule the 6th Asian Indoor and Martial Art Games to be held in Bangkok and Chonburi province from the 17th to the 26th of November 2023.
