8 January 2023 | In a riveting showcase of talent and dedication, the Kuala Lumpur Dancesport Association (KLDSA) surged to extraordinary heights at the DanceSport Hong Kong Open 2023 held at the illustrious Queen Elizabeth Stadium in Hong Kong on 27th December 2023. Led by the visionary Deputy President of KLDSA, Mr. Chua Zjen Fong, and bolstered by the expertise of two esteemed national coaches, Mr. Ooi Say Keat and Ms. Che Xin Nee, the team of solo athletes exhibited sheer brilliance, claiming numerous accolades across various categories. Amongst the standout performers, Yap Wan Xin emerged as an unparalleled force, clinching a remarkable tally of 10 gold medals, showcasing mastery in various categories. Not to be outdone, Madeleine Lau Yu Xuan mesmerized audiences with her own exceptional prowess, securing an impressive haul of 6 gold medals. Their outstanding achievements stand as a testament to their sheer dedication, skill, and the unwavering support of the KLDSA team.
