Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam - The Kuala Lumpur DanceSport Association (KLDSA) athletes had a successful outing at the WDSF Dancesport Festival 2025 in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, held from July 9 to 13, 2025. The competition saw Malaysian athletes competing in a variety of solo and couple events, with many achieving podium finishes and advancing through multiple rounds.
Solo Achievements
Cherry Yeo Xiao Wei: 1st Runner Up in the WDSF Asian Adult Solo Girls Championship Latin.
Bernice Iu Weng Tong: Champion in the WDSF Adult Open Solo Girls Latin and 6th place in the WDSF Asian Adult Solo Girls Championship Latin.
Lim Dao Er: Semi-finalist in the WDSF Adult Open Solo Girls Latin (11th out of 50) , and 1st Runner Up in the KTOC Solo Adult Single Dance - Jive.
Yeow Kai Wen: Semi-finalist in the WDSF Junior II Open Solo Girls Latin (9th out of 45).
Grace Elizabeth Si Mei: 2nd Runner Up in the KTOC Solo Junior I Single Dance - Samba.
Couple Achievements
Ooi Ken Vin & Zoe Tan Zi Wei: 1st Runner Up in the South East Asian Single Dance Championship - Rumba and Jive.
Tan Li Xuan & Yap Chin Kuan: Champions in the KTOC Adult Single Dance - Samba, Rumba, and Paso Doble.
Anson Phang Jun Keat & Janice Liaw Qian Ning: 4th place in the KTOC Adult Single Dance - Samba and 2nd Runner Up in the Jive event.
