KLDSA Senior Soloist Competes in Spain at Alicante Dance Festival 2025

Alicante, Spain, October 2025 – The Kuala Lumpur Dancesport Association (KLDSA) continued its commitment to international exposure by sending a delegation to the Alicante Dance Festival , held from October 3 to 5, 2025 , in Alicante, Spain. This event was classified as an International competition.

The team’s participation focused on a solo event. The solo athlete representing the KLDSA was Poh Yen Chern, who competed in the WDSF Solo Senior Female Open Latin event. In a competitive field of ten athletes, Poh Yen Chern successfully completed the 1st Round, finishing 7th overall in her category.

Participating in major European events like the Alicante Dance Festival provides crucial international experience for KLDSA athletes, enabling them to benchmark their skills against a global standard.

The KLDSA's participation in the Alicante Dance Festival served as a vital opportunity for international competitive exposure.
