10th - 12th November 2023 (Calvia, Spain) | In the heart of Calvia, Spain, the dance floor witnessed a spectacle of extraordinary talent and grace as KLDSA's stellar athletes, Cherry Yeo Xiao Wei, Yap Wan Xin, Madeleine Lau Yu Xuan, Nicole Lim Le Wei, and Taraneh Ahmad lead by Coach Evon Chong from MY Dancesport Academy stole the spotlight at the prestigious Mallorca Dance Festival. From November 10th to 12th, these remarkable dancers showcased not only their technical prowess but also their sheer passion for the art, leaving an indelible mark on the international stage. Among the extraordinary talents, Cherry Yeo Xiao Wei emerged as the pinnacle of solo dance, clinching not one but two prestigious titles. Her exceptional skill and captivating performances earned her the coveted titles of WDSF Solo Female Adult Latin Champion and WDSF Solo Female Youth Latin Champion over an approximate of 54 international athletes from all around the world. Besides the WDSF events, she was also able to obtain a gold medal in the MDF Solo Female Youth Latin.


In the intense competition that saw over 65 athletes from 18 countries vying for the top spot in the WDSF Youth Female Solo Latin Championship, Yap Wan Xin and Nicole Lim Le Wei's journey was nothing short of remarkable. Demonstrating exceptional skill and unwavering determination, they not only held their ground but soared to an impressive 8th place and 17th place finish.
